Forty Amazing Years

 

How often do you buy new shoes and clothes? How often do you eat bread? Think about Israel in the wilderness, “And I have led you forty years in the wilderness. Your clothes have not worn out on you, and your sandals have not worn out on your feet. You have not eaten bread, nor have you drunk wine or similar drink, that you may know that I am the LORD your God” (Deu 29.5, 6).

The Lord took care of His people, preserving their clothing, and providing them with food since they did not have crops to harvest for grain for food! Amazing is our God!

How is it that you are here today? God has been watching over you, providing for you. DR

 

The Excitement of the Resurrection of Jesus

 

Some women discovered that Jesus had been raised from dead. Watch them leave the tomb and go to His disciples, “So they went out quickly and fled from the tomb, for they trembled and were amazed. And they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid” (Mark 16.8).
