Be Like a Mountain

 

Do you want to be stable? Does your family or someone else need you to be as dependable as the mountains, always there? Meditate on Psalm 125.1 and you will discover how to be such.

 

Those who trust in the LORD
Are like Mount Zion,
Which cannot be moved, but abides forever.
(Psalm 125.1)

Use Your Life Situation for Advantage

 

We focus on what we want in life and the comforts we desire, so that we sometimes forget we can use our disadvantage for advantage. Paul wrote, “Were you called while a slave? Do not be concerned about it; but if you can be made free, rather use it” (1 Corinthians 7.21).

I can use disadvantage for advantage when I stop thinking of myself and think how my situation can glorify God and how it can help others. DR
