The Power of a Christian Life

A storm tossed about the ship on which Paul and two hundred seventy-five other people traveled, so much so that none of them had eaten in fourteen days, because of the violence of the storm.

However, regardless of the horrific dangers of the journey, Paul continued to live humbly as a Christian and trusted in God.

Then when the apostle spoke, the people on board were ready to listen, “And when he had said these things, he took bread and gave thanks to God in the presence of them all; and when he had broken it he began to eat. Then they were all encouraged, and also took food themselves” (Acts 27.35, 36).

That is the power of the Christian life. If you are seeking with all your heart to live as Jesus our Teacher instructs, you likewise have the same influence over people, although you may not have seen it.

When a storm of life comes, keep living as you have been, and others will watch you and learn to trust God. DR

The Fear of the Atheists

Psalm 53 reveals the thinking of atheists, including this, “There they are in great fear where no fear was, for God has scattered the bones of him who encamps against you; You have put them to shame, because God has despised them” (Psalm 53.5).

To see proof of this, just listen to them. They fear the future of the earth. They fear Christianity. They fear many things.

Listen to them in the news, or any other place where you hear them speaking or writing, and you will hear fear.

Believe in God and release yourself from fear. DR
