Who the Lord Is

 

Who is our God? I will let the Levites, of Nehemiah’s generation, answer that question,

“You alone are the LORD;
You have made heaven,
The heaven of heavens, with all their host,
The earth and everything on it,
The seas and all that is in them,
And You preserve them all.
The host of heaven worships You.”
(Nehemiah 9.6)

Meditate on those words the rest of the day and see what it does to your spirit, and see what it does to your relationship with God.

Then say the same words in a prayer to Him. DR

 

Bold Preaching

 

Peter declared boldly to the Jewish leaders who had ordered the death of Jesus, “This is the ‘stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone’” (Acts 4.11).

Remember Peter had denied knowing the Lord when a girl confronted Peter about his association with Jesus.

Something changed Peter. Seeing the Lord after His resurrection had an influence on the apostle that is truly amazing.

The boldness of the Jewish leaders in condemning Jesus to death is also truly amazing, but unfortunately their boldness was wrong and Peter showed them their error.
