A Simple Look

 

Solomon said to the woman whom he loved, “You have ravished my heart, my sister, my spouse; you have ravished my heart with one look of your eyes, with one link of your necklace” (Song 4.9).

With the attraction for one another in place, all it took was one look of the eye, or a small piece of adornment, and the recipient was captive.

Working for the Truth

 

If you desire what the Lord desires, you will understand what Paul meant when he said, “For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth” (2 Corinthians 13.8).

It would never enter our hearts to do something against the truth, but we always seek to do things for the truth, making it stand out in this old wicked world.

What do you do for the truth? Think on that today, and then get busy and do things for the truth. DR
