What God Commands Happens

 

What God determined for the animals of the earth, would happen, because He commanded it (Isaiah 34.13–16), for He said also, “He has cast the lot for them, and His hand has divided it among them with a measuring line. They shall possess it forever; from generation to generation they shall dwell in it” (Isaiah 34.17).

Therefore, rest peacefully, knowing that whatever God has promised and commanded, He shall do. DR

 

Why Jesus Has a Super High Name

 

God highly exalted Jesus, giving Him a name that surpasses all names (Philippians 2.9), for at least two reasons. First, “that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth” (Philippians 2.10), and second, “that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2.11).
