Remember Us, God, When the Atheist Attacks

Atheists today have taken a new aggressive approach, but let us not forget that we can speak to the ever-present God, “Arise, O LORD! O God, lift up Your hand! Do not forget the humble. Why do the wicked renounce God? He has said in his heart, ‘You will not require an account’” (Psalm 10.12–13).

The atheist speaks against God and against us for believing in God. Let us turn them over to God that they might know He exists. DR

Seizing the Opportunity

When Paul entered Athens, he saw a city captivated by idolatry, and when the local philosophers wanted to hear him speak, he used their idolatry as an opportunity to reveal to them the one true God, “for as I was passing through and considering the objects of your worship, I even found an altar with this inscription: TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Therefore, the One whom you worship without knowing, Him I proclaim to you…” (Acts 17.23).

So began a great dissertation on the true nature of the Creator. Since God exists, we cannot worship Him in ignorance, but we must know what we are doing.
