The Power of the Day of the Lord

Babylon squashed many nations, including Judah, but the Lord wanted His people to know He would squash Babylon, “Behold, the day of the LORD comes, cruel, with both wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate; and He will destroy its sinners from it. For the stars of heaven and their constellations will not give their light; the sun will be darkened in its going forth, and the moon will not cause its light to shine” (Isaiah 13.9–10).

Likewise, the Book of Revelation shows that for those who attempt to squash the church out of existence, the Lord shall squash them out of existence. DR

Whatever Happened to Personal Responsibility?

As government grows endlessly, and more people demand that the government take care of them, it makes me wonder whatever happened to personal responsibility? The Bible teaches, “For each one shall bear his own load” (Galatians 6.5).

Perhaps someone should make a sign and show it to the “Occupy” people. DR
