      2. Yet, consider what Paul said the Galatian churches were doing:
         1. 1.6–9
         2. 3.1
         3. 5.1–4
   6. To whom was the Book of Hebrews written?
      1. Heb 13.20–25
      2. Why was it written?
         1. 2.1–4
         2. 6.1–6
2. Why Do Some People Believe Christians Cannot Fall Away?
   1. They believe that to say a Christian can, infringes upon God’s sovereignty.
      1. John 10.27–29
      2. 1Jo 1.5–10
   2. They emphasize one truth to the neglect of another.
      1. Remember that we must have the whole truth:
         1. Psa 119.160
         2. Acts 20.26, 27
      2. We can speak the truth, but
         1. if we do not give the whole truth,
         2. we have preached a half truth.
      3. We cannot use one teaching or passage of Scripture to trump others.
         1. Does the word of God contradict itself?
         2. How do we seek to understand the various teachings of the Bible?
