When God Restores Relationships

Look at God restoring His relationship with Judah and Joseph (representing Israel), and see to what extent He would restore those relationships, “I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph. I will bring them back, because I have mercy on them. They shall be as though I had not cast them aside; for I am the LORD their God, and I will hear them” (Zechariah 10.6).

God had cast them aside, but He would so restore the relationships that it would be as though they had never parted ways.

Have you wandered from God? He desires to do with you what He said He would do with Judah and Joseph, demonstrating that by having His Son die to remove the wedge that you have drive between yourself and God.

Do you know what to do about it? DR

Satan’s Last Effort

Satan will have been bound for a thousand years that he might not deceive the nations, but then the Bible says, “Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea” (Revelation 20.7–8).

Satan will go out to deceive the nations, because He will have great power again. However, the nations must be deceived, because the nations will not know that they are fighting the Lord for Satan.

What is discussed in Revelation 20.7 is that Satan will have a great international influence, because faith will have diminished greatly (See Luke 18.8).

What binds Satan is the word of God, but toward the end there will not be much of the word of God in the world.

The nations are identified as Gog and Magog. Genesis 10.1–2 first mentions Magog, a grandson of Noah—and Magog’s brother’s were: Gomer, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech and Tiras—at a time when there was very little faith in the world, truly, his parents and grandparents were the only ones with faith.

The family in Genesis 10 eventually became an enemy of Israel, although Magog was a grandson of a godly man.

In Revelation 20, this nation represents the enemy of the church, the true Israel.

Satan will use them to wage war on the few remaining saints at the end of time.

The number of Gog and Magog is like the sand of the sea, because at the end faith will be rare on the earth, so that the wicked will be numberless.

Friends, do everything you can to have faith that you might be able to stand with the Lord regardless of the forces arrayed against you! DR
