Our Location

Come Worship With Us!

We are conveniently located off Exit 58 in Grants Pass, Oregon, right off the freeway!

Once you get off the freeway, keep going down 6th Street. Then, take a left onto Savage Street.

There's plenty of free parking at our church building. You'll always be able to find a spot, and there's always someone around to help if you need it!

Our church family keeps it fairly casual. You are welcome to dress in a way that's comfortable as long as it's not distracting or inappropriate for a worship service. Remember that we are all here to worship God to the best of our ability!

Absolutely! When possible, we offer children's classes from 6 months old and up.

We have a nursery, along with a play room for children.

From either of these rooms, you can comfortably watch the worship service without being disturbed.

Of course! We're proud to offer Bible classes for teens and young adults.

These classes take place during the same time as our regular Bible class:

9:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, and 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening.

Chat with one of our members and they'll help you find where the young adult class is taking place!

Nothing at all! We're just happy for you to join us. You are welcome to participate in our worship, but don’t feel obligated to.

You may be asked to fill out a visitor’s card. This can provide us with information on how we can be of service to you, but feel free to decline the request.

We have restrooms in both the front of the building and the back of the building. No matter where you are, you'll be able to access the restroom easily!

Yes, the whole building is wheelchair-accessible. There are multiple handicapped parking spaces as well.

Yes, we offer closed captioning during the worship service, so you can read along no matter where you might be sitting!

THE WORSHIP SERVICE

The worship service is designed to be pleasing to God and beneficial to each worshipper. Our purpose is to worship God in spirit and in truth (John 4:24) and to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15).

As you enter the auditorium, there will be rows of pews for worshippers. There are no reserved seats, so feel free to sit where you wish.

There will be several prayers during the worship service. Some will be for specific requests and needs.

When you sit in the pew, there will be hymn books in front of you that you can use.

You are welcome to sing with us if you wish. One of the things you will find unique is that we sing "a cappella," or without the use of musical instruments.

The word “a cappella” means, “as in church.” History tells us that there were no musical instruments used in worship until AD 670.

This is a matter of conscience with us, not preference.

We know this may be different from what many people are used to nowadays. For us, it's simply about following the pattern we see in God's Word.

When you worship with us on Sunday, the Lord’s Supper will be a part of the worship service. This “memorial” is observed every Sunday, as did the first century church (Acts 20:7).

During this memorial, plates containing unleavened bread will be passed to the worshippers. The bread is a symbol of the body of Jesus.

After that, small cups containing grape juice will be passed, symbolizing His shed blood (1 Corinthians 11:23–26).

If you choose not to participate, feel free to simply pass the tray on to the next person.

Following the Lord’s Supper, plates will be passed to collect the weekly financial offering. This offering is used to further the preaching of the Gospel and assisting the needy (Mark 16:15; 1 Corinthians 16:1; James 1:27).

As our guest, you are not expected to make a donation. Feel free to simply pass the plate to the next person in the row.

This is a great question, and it is something we take seriously. Our offerings support the work of our congregation, including building maintenance, local ministry and teaching, and serving our community.

We also support missionaries and Gospel workers around the world as they share the Gospel and serve others.

From time to time, we take special offerings for specific needs, such as member training and education, Gospel work in other communities and countries, and other emerging needs.

Throughout the year, we also set aside funds for charitable and benevolent work to help individuals and families facing financial or other difficulties.

Our goal is to be faithful stewards of these resources, using them to support the church's work and help others.

At the end of the sermon, the preacher will offer an "invitation." Those who desire to make a commitment to Christ, make prayer requests, or place membership with us can do so during this time.

The preacher will encourage those who wish to respond to come to the front as the congregation sings.

There's no pressure on you during this time. Some services, people respond. Other times, nobody responds, and that's completely normal.

If you decide to confess Christ and to be baptized, you will be baptized during the service.

The baptism will be by immersion in water, for the remission sins (Acts 2:38; 8:26–40; Romans 6:3–6). We have a baptistry located directly behind the pulpit.
