Presentation Before the Lord
Concerning the law of peace offerings, the Lord said in part, “The flesh that touches any unclean thing shall not be eaten. It shall be burned with fire. And as for the clean flesh, all who are clean may eat of it” (Lev 7.19).
Yet, if the person was unclean, and ate of the sacrifice of the peace offering, that person was cut off from the people (Lev 7.20).
The Lord added that any person who touched any unclean thing, and who then ate, “the flesh of the sacrifice of the peace offering that belongs to the LORD, that person shall be cut off from his people” (Lev 7.21).
The Lord is holy, therefore, the Israelites had to be holy in whatever they did before Him, and the same holds true with us.
If we want to approach the Lord, we have to be holy. DR
Have You Seen Jesus?
At the Judgment, Jesus will invite the righteous into heaven, because they saw Him and ministered to Him, but not having seen Him literally, they will question when they saw Him, “Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?” (Matt 25.37–39).
Do you know how Jesus answered them?
Now ask yourself whether you have seen Jesus. Look for Him today. DR
